Samsung Launches ‘Gauss2’: The Next Gen AI Model Explained

Samsung introduced its Gauss2 AI model at the Samsung Developer Conference 2024. Available in Compact, Balanced, and Supreme versions, Gauss2 offers improved performance and efficiency while handling various data types. The Supreme model uses Mixture of Experts technology to enhance performance by activating specialised expert models for specific tasks.

Gauss2 is already being used internally at Samsung for tasks like coding assistance, document summarisation, and call centre support. While Samsung hasn’t revealed consumer applications yet, it plans to expand AI services across all product lines.
