“Sai Sudharsan Scripts IPL Record!”

Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Sai Sudharsan delivered a powerful performance against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Wednesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He smashed 82 runs off just 53 balls, helping GT post a huge total of 217/6.
His innings included 8 fours and 3 sixes and became the backbone of the team’s strong total. With this brilliant knock, Sudharsan became the second-highest scorer in IPL history after 30 innings, with a total of 1307 runs. He is just behind Shaun Marsh, who leads with 1338 runs.
That’s not all – Sai Sudharsan also became the first Indian in IPL history to score five consecutive 50+ scores at the same venue. In his previous two games at this stadium, he hit an unbeaten 84 and a century.
Talking about his innings, Sudharsan said the pitch was a bit tough at the start but later became perfect for batting. He praised GT’s planning and said the team felt confident of scoring even more.
He also spoke about facing Jofra Archer, saying that the fast bowler got some help from the pitch but GT still managed to put up a big score. With 218 as the target, the pressure is now on Rajasthan Royals to chase down the total.
GT will rely on their bowlers to defend the score and continue their winning momentum.
