Donald Trump has officially taken the oath as the 47th President of the United States at the US Capitol. The ceremony, usually held on the Capitol’s West Lawn, was moved indoors due to freezing weather. JD Vance was also sworn in as Vice President.

In his inaugural speech, Trump laid out bold plans for his presidency, promising to reshape America with strong actions. Shortly after taking office, he signed 80 executive orders, reversing several policies from the previous administration. He vowed to “end American decline” and take swift action on immigration, executive power, and other key issues.

Pre-inaugural events included a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and a lively rally where Trump promised to act with “historic speed” from day one.
