“Delhi’s Air Quality Severe As AQI Crosses 420”
Delhi woke up to severe air quality on Tuesday, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) at 421 around 8 am, according to the central government’s Sameer app. This app provides hourly updates on air quality. Other cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) also had poor air quality. Greater Noida recorded an AQI of 398, while Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram had AQIs of 382, 380, and 356, respectively. Faridabad had the best air quality in the region at 258.
