“Canada’s Opposition Slams Trudeau Over Nijjar Terrorist Claims”

Bernier further dismissed the claim that Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani militant killed last year, was Canadian. He called Nijjar a “foreign terrorist” who used fake documents to claim asylum and suggested that his citizenship be revoked posthumously. Bernier stressed that Canada has long welcomed foreigners and their conflicts, calling this a major mistake. He urged Canada to work with India rather than risk ties with an important ally.
