“6 Dead, 50 Injured As Platform Collapses In UP”

A tragic incident occurred during the ‘Laddoo Mahotsav’ religious event in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, where a bamboo platform collapsed under the weight of hundreds of people. Six people lost their lives, and more than 50 were injured. The event, organized by the Jain community, marks the nirvana of Jain deity Adinatha.

Police and ambulances rushed to the scene, providing aid and sending the injured to the hospital. While many received first aid, others with serious injuries are still being treated.
