Stree 2 Day 26: Only Rs 30 Cr Away from Jawan’s Record!
Stree 2, the horror-comedy featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is making headlines as it nears Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan in the race for the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. On its 26th day, Stree 2 earned Rs 3.25 crore, bringing its total to Rs 530 crore. This impressive haul places it as the second highest-grossing Hindi film ever, just Rs 30 crore short of Jawan’s Hindi net collection of Rs 582 crore.
While Jawan has a global total of Rs 1,100 crore, Stree 2 has accumulated around Rs 760 crore worldwide. The film’s strong performance continues, notably surpassing Jawan’s fourth weekend record with Rs 24 crore, compared to Jawan’s Rs 22.30 crore.
With no major competition until late September, Stree 2 is set to maintain its momentum. It will face off against Kareena Kapoor’s The Buckingham Murders and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Yudhra before Devara, starring JR NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, arrives on September 27.
