The content creators, including Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani, along with the show’s producers, Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra, are facing backlash. NCW has called for a hearing on February 17, 2025, in New Delhi.

Episode Removed After Backlash

After heavy criticism from netizens, politicians, and celebrities, the controversial episode was removed from YouTube. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) also directed YouTube to take it down over complaints about offensive content.

Ranveer Apologizes

Following online outrage, Ranveer posted an apology video on X, calling the joke a lapse in judgment. He admitted that comedy is not his forte. However, Samay Raina and Apoorva Makhija have not responded yet.
