“Dalljiet Kaur Regrets Marrying Shalin Bhanot”

Television actor Dalljiet Kaur has shared her thoughts on her past marriages and life after her divorce from Shalin Bhanot. Dalljiet and Shalin met while working on the TV show Kul Vadhu and later participated in Nach Baliye. They married soon after winning the dance reality show. Looking back, Dalljiet expressed regret, saying, “I wish I had gotten to know him more before marriage. If I did, things wouldn’t have ended this way.”

Their marriage ended in 2015 after Dalljiet accused Shalin of domestic violence. She admitted that after the divorce, she struggled for years, especially as she was raising their son, Jaydon. “I couldn’t move on for 2-3 years,” Dalljiet revealed. She also shared that Shalin rarely made decisions or cared for their son during those years.

Dalljiet later married Nikhil Patel, a businessman based in Kenya, in March 2023. However, after 10 months, the marriage ended, and Dalljiet returned to India. She hinted at possible issues, including suspicions of an affair. Nikhil Patel later clarified that their marriage was not legally binding.

Dalljiet is now focused on rebuilding her life.
