John Lithgow Is The New Dumbledore In Harry Potter Reboot!

Reports suggest that Emmy-winning actor John Lithgow is in the final stage of talks to play Professor Albus Dumbledore in HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series. However, HBO has neither confirmed nor denied this. In a statement, the network said, “There are many rumors, but we will confirm details only when deals are finalized.”

The Harry Potter reboot is led by Francesca Gardiner as the writer and showrunner, while Mark Mylod will direct and serve as an executive producer.

The original Harry Potter books, written by J.K. Rowling, have sold over 600 million copies worldwide. The film adaptations, released between 2001 and 2011.
