“JLo To Return To Maiden Name After Divorce”

Singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck have officially divorced after two years of marriage. According to E! News, they’ve settled the terms of their divorce and agreed on everything. As part of the agreement, Jennifer will return to using her maiden name, “Lopez,” instead of “Affleck.” Both will keep the money they earned separately during their marriage, and neither will pay spousal support.

Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, citing their separation on April 26, 2024. There had been rumors about their relationship after Lopez appeared solo at the 2024 Met Gala. Despite their split, they have remained on good terms, attending family events together, including a holiday meal just before Christmas.

In an interview with comedian Nikki Glaser, Lopez opened up about the emotional impact of the breakup, saying her “whole world exploded” but also reflecting on the importance of being complete within oneself.
