The Buckingham Murders” Tops Weekend with ₹5.3 Crore!

Kareena Kapoor’s new film, The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta, has made a notable impact at the box office. The thriller, which saw its release on September 13, 2024, earned an impressive ₹5.3 crore during its opening weekend.

The film’s first three days saw a solid performance, with collections of ₹1.15 crore on Friday, ₹1.95 crore on Saturday, and ₹2.20 crore on Sunday. The Buckingham Murders was released in two versions—Hindi and Hinglish—with the Hindi version outperforming its Hinglish counterpart.

In The Buckingham Murders, Kareena plays Sergeant Jasmeet ‘Jass’ Bhamra, who grapples with personal grief while investigating a child’s disappearance. The film features a supporting cast including Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen, and marks Kareena’s debut as a producer.

The movie has generated positive buzz and is praised for Kareena’s compelling performance. After this, she will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama, Singham Again, set for a Diwali release.
