Raha, a Mini-Rishi: Riddhima’s Heartfelt Message

On what would have been Rishi Kapoor’s 72nd birthday, his daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Riddhima, who is also a jewelry designer, expressed her deep longing for her late father, wishing he could have celebrated his special day with his granddaughters, Samara and Raha Kapoor.

Riddhima shared a nostalgic photo of her father from a past birthday celebration. In the picture, Rishi, dressed in a black T-shirt, is about to cut a homemade birthday cake, with colorful balloons in the background. Little Samara sits on his lap, eagerly awaiting a slice of cake.

In her post, Riddhima wrote, “Happy birthday Papa ❤️. How I wish you were here celebrating your special day with both your granddaughters. Your ‘bandari’ Sam is all grown up and baby Raha is the cutest – she is a mini You. Papa, I will always cherish the memories we shared. We miss you so much, and our love for you only deepens with every passing day .” Rishi’s wife, Neetu Kapoor, also shared Riddhima’s message on her Instagram Stories.

Riddhima’s sister-in-law, Alia Bhatt, has previously noted that Raha, born in November 2022, bears a striking resemblance to her grandfather Rishi Kapoor. The resemblance was also highlighted by fans and shared on social media.

Rishi’s close friend and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan also paid tribute, sharing a picture of Rishi with Jeetendra and himself, and writing, “Chintu Gone but never forgotten, your spirit still lives in our hearts .”
