Kareena Kapoor Trolled for Saying ‘Luxury Isn’t in Mansions’
Kareena Kapoor Khan has stirred up some trouble again with a recent statement she endorsed. She reposted a quote on Instagram, originally attributed to 94-year-old Hollywood filmmaker Clint Eastwood, that talks about the real meaning of luxury. The quote says luxury isn’t about money, but about the simple joys of life.
Kareena’s post read, “Read it again and again (red heart emoji),” along with the quote: “Don’t look for luxury in watches, bracelets, mansions, or sailboats. Luxury is laughter, friends, being healthy, feeling the rain on your face, and sharing hugs and kisses. It’s not about what you can buy in stores or gifts, or at parties. Real luxury is being loved and respected, having your parents alive, playing with your grandchildren, and enjoying the little things that money can’t buy.”
While the message was meant to be inspiring, many found it ironic coming from Kareena, who is associated with wealth and luxury, and they didn’t hesitate to troll her for it.
