Delhi people use certain words which will make you instantly realize they belong from there. 1. Bhasad Its a term for chaos. When somebody creates a situation out if nothing or simply makes noise about something, people say ' Kyu bhasad macha rahe ho?' 2. Thulla Thulla is the term used for a policeman standing at the signal. The term for the very irritating man at the signal whom we always run away from is thulla. You tell your friend, 'yaar, wo thulla ne rok liya'. 3. Kalesh A huge problem is called a kalesh. When ur dad fights with you over something and there is a big argument with him, you go and tell your friend, 'aaj dad ke sath kalesh ho gayi'. 4 . Jugaad Every delhite knows the term jugaad. It is a short cut method. The substitute for something which is a long process which can be done in a short cut way,' exam mein pass hone ka jugaad mil gaya hai'. 5. Ohh Teri This is an expression of suprise. When you tell a person from Delhi something suprising, they will react with 'Ohh Teri'. 6. Gaaliyan. Gaaliyan is like Behenchod, Bhosdi ke is very comman for delhi people. 7. Chep Instead of cheap, Delhite used the term 'chep'. It means somebody who stick to you unnecessary. When somebody gets over friendly with you, you call them chep.
