Me: And why do you think would I want to come along?

Me: Mom, let’s order biryani today
Mom: Why do you want to waste money. I can cook better biryani than the one they serve at the restaurants.

Me: Mom, my eyes are hurting, I think I should get my eyes checked
Mom: How many times have I told you to not watch the television from such a close distance and that phone you constantly keep looking into
Me: sighs
