No people to trouble you and the dip in the sea which is believed that a dip in the waters here will absolve you of all the sins. This is simply the best that can happen to you Suraj Tal Lake (Himachal Pradesh)- The Suraj Tal Lake, also known as the lake of the sun god, close to the Baralacha la pass is the third highest lake in India and also 21 in all over world This lake is totally isolated and is a bit difficult to reach. But we promise that if you manage to trek here you can have all the calmness you want. Best to go in summer as winters are killing cold. Majuli (Assam)- Not many have heard the name Majuli.It was once 1250 sq km wide but the river Brahmaputra has made it 450 sq km wide only.They are the most isolated islands but are amazingly beautiful. Do visit it before it vanishes completely Nubra Valley(J & K)- Located about 150 km from the town of Leh is the Nubra Valley. It is also referred to as the valley of flowers, because it is covered with some really beautiful flowers during the summer months. The beautiful flowers are kind of complemented by the largely rugged terrain of the valley, as is the case with therest of Ladakh.The valley is one of the easier treks in Ladakh, but not any less beautiful. During the summer months, you can spot the local shepherding their sheep with a smile on their face and a lively spirit. Sela Pass(Arunachal Pradesh)- Sela Pass is one of the most beautiful places to visit in India. Connecting Tawang district to other parts of the country is the Sela Pass. The lake is situated at a height of about 5,000 meters above sea level in Uttaranchal’s Chamoli District. During the summer season, when the ice melts in the lake, you can see several hundred corpses floating in the lake Dzükou Valley(Nagaland)- Located at an altitude of a little more than 2000 meters above sea level is the gorgeous Dzukou Valley of Nagaland. Thevalley lies on the border of Manipur and Nagaland, behind the majestic Japfu Peak. This place is a must visit in this part of the country.The.valley of flowers here is no less than any other. A special lilly called the Dzukou Lilly is the special thing here Sandakphu(West Bengal) Located close to Singalila National Park in West Bengal is Sandakphu, or Sandakfu, the highest peak of the region.A moderate trek can take you to the top of the Kanchendzonga Peak and by the way when in bengal do enjoy the begali sweets on a hill top. There are villages where you can stay but my favorite insight camping. Goecha La Pass(Sikkim)- Another gorgeous mountain pass in the Himalayan region is Goecha La Pass in Sikkim. If you want to climb kunchenjunga peak this place is your base camp. During the trek you are welcomed by the best est views you can have but the best is saved for last as the view after getting to top is life experience. Matheran(Maharashtra)- Located at 2600 ft above sea level is the smallest hill station of India. The best part about this place is that no vehicles are allowed. You have to reach by a small train journey. If visit here then panoramic point is a must go that gives a 360 degree all beautiful view Vembanad (Kerala) Sit and do fishing yourself or watch the famous Nehru boat competition here. This place has lot to offer and also not many people to disturb you. You can have the best of days here with family. Also many birds come here so if you happen to be a bird watcher you are in heaven Gurez Valley(Jammu and Kashmir)- Located near LOC this is a highly sensitive region but is very beautiful. The valley has the most panoramic views in the region and is amazing experience to go. The valley is also fertile hence a lot of farming is done there. If you ever get a chance to visit there you should not miss. Hogenakkal Falls- The Niagara falls of India is located 180 km from Bangalore. It is situated on river kaveri and it is majestically loud and beautiful. During summers you can trek the falls or take a trip inside it however monsoon is the best time to see it as it is best then. Living Root Bridge (Meghalaya) Auroville(Tamil Nadu)- An experimental township this is also called the city of dawn. People here are linked to central database, place is very beautiful and people live here very peacefully . Also every month people who need money are helped here and this is a perfect example how different caste people should live.
