Jeff has had a steady ascend on this list. He started the year being the fourth richest person in the world. He has surpassed Amancio Ortega, and Warren Buffett. The shares of Amazon have risen by 40% this year causing Bezos’s 17% ownership stake to add $24.5 billion to the overall net worth.
The overall shares of Amazon will rise up to 22% per quarter. This year, Amazon has expanded its business and entered the Singapore market as well. Amazon prime is the main factor bringing a major share of growth for both Amazon and Jeff Bezos.
