Quentin Tarantino, speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, shared why he’s staying away from directing for now. The two-time Oscar-winning filmmaker said, “I’m in no hurry. I’ve been directing for 30 years.” He plans to wait until his son turns 6 before jumping into his final movie.
Tarantino is currently working on a project that might wrap up next year. He hinted, “If it’s a smash hit, it could be my last film.”
Aside from movies, Tarantino has explored writing. He published his debut novel in 2021. Reflecting on the joy of theatrical experiences, he emphasized, “Filmmaking is about wowing the audience and giving them an unforgettable night out. That’s what makes it exciting.”
