“PCB Responds To Champions Trophy Relocation Report”

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has moved the upcoming ODI tri-series, featuring South Africa and New Zealand, from Multan to Karachi and Lahore. This change comes after reports questioned the readiness of stadiums for next month’s Champions Trophy. The PCB dismissed concerns about delays in renovation work, stating that preparations are progressing well and venues will be ready on time.

While some reports showed incomplete work at the stadiums, including plastering and floodlight installation, the PCB expressed confidence in the upgraded venues. The renovations at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and National Bank Stadium in Karachi are expected to meet ICC standards, ensuring a world-class experience for players and fans.
