Elon Musk is reportedly exploring ways to challenge UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer before the upcoming general elections. According to The Financial Times, Musk is considering supporting right-wing movements like Reform UK to shake up the Labour government.
Musk recently criticized Starmer and Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips over their handling of grooming gang cases in the UK, calling Phillips a “rape genocide apologist.” Both leaders denied Musk’s accusations, with Starmer condemning misinformation and Phillips accusing Musk of endangering her safety.
The billionaire even held a poll on X, asking if the US should “liberate” Britain from its “tyrannical government,” with 58% of two million voters saying yes. While Nigel Farage supports Musk’s criticisms, Musk has distanced himself from Farage, suggesting Reform UK needs new leadership.
Reports say Musk is backing alternative political parties like Reform UK, which is gaining support in opinion polls. However, whether Musk can significantly influence UK politics remains uncertain.
