The Supreme Court strongly criticized YouTube star Ranveer Allahbadia for making vulgar comments on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show. The court said that such behavior should not be tolerated, pointing out that Allahbadia’s words were harmful and disgusting.
Ranveer Allahbadia had approached the Supreme Court to challenge the FIRs filed against him for his inappropriate remarks during the YouTube show. He also requested that the FIRs be combined into one.
The court gave him some relief by protecting him from arrest but also stopped him from airing any more YouTube shows. The Justices expressed their anger, saying his words were shameful, and that his actions would make parents, sisters, and society feel embarrassed. The court made it clear that if there were threats against Allahbadia, the law would take its course.
