Rahul Gandhi claims that insiders from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) told him a raid is being planned after his ‘Chakravyuh’ speech in Parliament on July 29. He mentioned in a post, “Waiting with open arms. Chai and biscuits on me.”
In his speech, Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, likening it to the ‘Chakravyuh’ from the Mahabharata, which he said targets youth, farmers, and small businesses. He accused PM Modi and other top leaders of controlling the country, drawing parallels to the ancient story where Abhimanyu was trapped and killed.
BJP’s Anurag Thakur responded by mocking Gandhi’s knowledge of Mahabharata and pointed out what he called the Congress party’s history of creating ‘Chakravyuhs.’ PM Modi praised Thakur’s speech for its mix of facts and humor, saying it exposed the politics of the Congress-led INDI Alliance.
The Parliament’s budget session, which started on July 22, is set to end on August 12.
