Kuwait’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Sabah, gave a warm farewell to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport as he concluded his two-day visit to the Gulf nation. During the visit, PM Modi was honored with Kuwait’s highest civilian award, The Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer, for strengthening India-Kuwait relations.
PM Modi met with Kuwait’s leadership to discuss cooperation in key sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, fintech, and security. He also addressed the Hala Modi event for the Indian community and visited an Indian labor camp. The Indian community in Kuwait, with over a million members, is the largest expatriate group in the country.
