The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its first list of 20 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. Key names include Anurag Dhandha for Kalayat, Vikas Nehra for Meham, and Bijender Hooda for Rohtak. Indu Sharma will run in Bhiwani, Narendra Sharma in Pundri, and Gurpal Singh in Naraingarh.
The announcement comes as AAP and Congress negotiate an alliance. AAP wants 10 seats, but Congress is offering 5. If the alliance isn’t finalized soon, AAP plans to announce candidates for all 90 seats.
AAP Haryana chief Sushil Gupta stated that the party will release a second list of candidates by evening and emphasized their commitment to changing Haryana’s system.
