A blast in Rohini on Sunday morning shook Delhi, raising fears about public safety and prompting a political clash. The explosion, which happened at around 7:47 am, damaged a wall at a CRPF school and several nearby vehicles but caused no injuries. Police are investigating a possible connection to pro-Khalistani groups.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi blamed the Central government, led by the BJP, for poor law and order in the city, comparing the situation to Mumbai’s underworld era. She criticized the BJP for neglecting safety and warned that if they gained control of Delhi, services like hospitals and water supply would suffer.
BJP spokesperson Shazia Ilmi responded, calling Atishi a “puppet CM” and accusing her of using the blast for political gain.
