Bernier stressed that Canada has long welcomed foreigners and their conflicts, calling this a major mistake. He urged Canada to work with India rather than risk ties with an important ally.
The tension between Canada and India continues to worsen, with India rejecting Canada’s accusations and calling them baseless. India has also accused Canada of failing to act on its requests to extradite terrorists.
