Balak buddhi, parasite and anecdotes’: pm Modi’s scathing reply to Rahul Gandhi, congress in Lok Sabha

“Yesterday, we saw childish behavior in the House. Speaker sir…you endure everything with a smile, but something has to be done about yesterday. Otherwise, it will not be good for Parliament…these attempts should not be ignored…There is a deeper conspiracy.” PM Modi said the nation would want “strict action against these lies” spread by Gandhi, calling out the Congress leader’s statements on MSP for farmers as well as the Agni veer scheme for military recruits. PM Modi also accused Gandhi of creating “drama for sympathy. “The Congress has made lies the weapon of its politics and they have tasted blood,” PM Modi said, alleging that the Opposition was spreading lies about the reliability of electronic voting machines, Rafale deal, and other reforms measures. He then touched upon the 2024 election results. “It’s a first for the Congress,” PM Modi said, “…that they couldn’t touch 100 seats in three continuous elections.” In his speech, the Prime Minister shared an anecdote: that when a child falls from his bicycle, elders console him saying “you are a great cyclist” and “no big deal, it’s just an ant that has died in the fall”. Modi said the Congress and its ecosystem were now busy doing the consoling job. He continued with another anecdote: that a child was distributing sweets after getting 99 marks in an exam but did not reveal that he got 99 out of 543, and not of 100. Then, there was another story: that a child came back from school crying because he was beaten up but didn’t tell his worried mother that he was the one to steal tiffin from others. Modi also addressed the political allies of the Congress, which he said flourishes at the expense of others. “Have they done any analysis? Now, from 2024, the Congress is a parasite party,” PM Modi said, adding most of the Congress seats were ‘gifted’ to them by their allies. Modi also drew reference to the Bollywood film ‘Sholay’ and said that the statements made by Congress leaders have even surpassed such a film. According to Modi, the grand old party would from 2024 be known as a “parasitic Congress”, saying that a parasite is one that eats the body in which it lives. He further said that “these are the people who coined the term Hindu terrorism”. The nation will never forgive their fellow Indians if Hinduism is compared with terms like ‘malaria, dengue, etc.’. The Prime Minister said that after yesterday’s incident, the Hindu society will now be thinking whether this was a coincidence or the pre-arrival signs of something bigger. Stating that this was the third executive Lok Sabha elections where the Congress couldn’t cross the 100-seats mark, Modi said this was the “biggest failure in elections in the history” of the grand old party. Modi said that the statements made by Congress leaders have even surpassed such a film. The Prime Minister claimed that the Congress had made lie a weapon of politics, saying that they are addicted to lying. He noted that the grand old party was attempting to spready anarchy by making one part of the nation to be inferior to the other part. The PM claimed that armed forces did not even have bulletproof jackets during Congress’ regime. The grand old party did not procure fighter jets and when the NDA government tried, they resorted to all sorts of conspiracies, he said. “The Congress party has become a master in spreading lies, and they have made it a part of their politics. They have tried to spread lies on various issues, including the farmers’ MSP, the Agni veer scheme, and the reliability of EVMs. But the people of this country are not going to fall for their lies.” PM Modi also attacked the Congress party for its stand on terrorism, saying that they had coined the term “Hindu terrorism” and had tried to equate Hinduism with terrorism. “The Congress party has tried to defame the Hindu society, which is one of the oldest and most peaceful societies in the world. They have tried to link Hinduism with terrorism, which is a grave insult to the entire Hindu community.” PM Modi also accused the Congress party of trying to spread anarchy in the country by trying to divide people on religious lines. “The Congress party is trying to create a divide between Hindus and Muslims, and they are trying to spread anarchy in the country. But the people of this country are not going to fall for their tricks.” The Prime Minister also attacked the Congress party for its record on national security, saying that they had compromised the country’s security for political gains. “The Congress party has compromised the country’s security for political gains. They did not procure fighter jets for the armed forces, and they did not provide bulletproof jackets to our soldiers. But we have changed all that, and we have made sure that our armed forces are equipped with the latest technology and weapons.” PM Modi also accused the Congress party of trying to undermine the country’s institutions, including the judiciary and the Election Commission. “The Congress party has tried to undermine the country’s institutions, including the judiciary and the Election Commission. But the people of this country are not going to fall for their tricks. We will continue to work for the development of this country, and we will make sure that our institutions are strong and independent.” In conclusion, PM Modi said that the Congress party had become a parasite on the country’s political system, and that it was time for the people to reject them. “The Congress party has become a parasite on our political system, and it is time for the people to reject them. We will continue to work for the development of this country, and we will make sure that our institutions are strong and independent. Jai Hind!”
