A tragic stampede at the Maha Kumbh Mela festival in Prayagraj, India, on January 29, 2025, has left at least seven dead and around 10 injured. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured that the situation was under control but urged people to avoid the area. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences for the loss of lives.
