Kareena Kapoor Celebrates 25 Years in Film with PVR Festival!
PVR is hosting a film festival to honor Kareena Kapoor’s 25 years in cinema, featuring her 2006 film Omkara. At the festival launch, Kareena reminisced about inviting directors to the film’s trial, confident she’d shine as Desdemona. However, her now-husband Saif Ali Khan stole the spotlight!
Kareena laughed as she recalled how guests praised Saif instead of her, saying, “I called everyone to praise me, but they all flocked to Saif!” She acknowledged that strong co-stars are key to great films, thanking all her actors from movies like Jab We Met and Asoka.
Omkara, a Hindi adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello, also featured Ajay Devgn and Naseeruddin Shah. Kareena’s upcoming projects include Singham Again, while Saif stars in Devara: Part 1.
