The upcoming Mufasa: The Lion King Hindi version, featuring voices by Shah Rukh Khan and his sons Aryan and AbRam Khan, has sparked a debate. Marathi actor Yogita Chavan questioned why Aryan and AbRam’s names are shown in bold on the official poster, while veteran actors like Makrand Deshpande, Sanjay Mishra, and Shreyas Talpade are listed more subtly.
Many online users defended the decision, explaining that Aryan voices Simba, an essential character, and AbRam voices young Mufasa, which justifies their prominent name placement.
The prequel to the 2019 hit The Lion King is set for release on December 20 in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
