Ananya Panday, currently promoting her new show Call Me Bae, recently shared her thoughts on her experience with the film Liger. In a candid interview, Ananya discussed how she felt uncomfortable with some of the dialogues in the film and how she made her feelings known to the filmmakers.
While working on Liger, Ananya noticed that some of the lines her character had to say didn’t align with what she believed was appropriate for her generation. She mentioned that she saw it as her duty to speak up about these issues, especially concerning women’s safety and representation. She emphasized the importance of using her voice to address what she felt was wrong and is happy that the filmmakers listened to her concerns and made the necessary changes.
Ananya’s upcoming show, Call Me Bae, will be available on Prime Video starting September 6. The show promises to be an exciting new project for her, featuring a fresh take on the chick-flick genre.
