An officer from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was injured after the team was attacked while raiding a farmhouse in Bijwasan, Delhi, on Thursday. The raid targeted chartered accountant Ashok Sharma in connection with an investigation into cyber fraud and money laundering.
The ED had uncovered a network involved in phishing scams, QR code fraud, and part-time job scams, where illicit funds were laundered through mule accounts and used to buy cryptocurrency. The police have launched a manhunt for the attackers, and an FIR is being filed.
