Delhi University has clarified that a circulating notice about the extension of online classes due to worsening air quality in Delhi is fake. The university had earlier announced that online classes would run until November 23, 2024, due to pollution levels, but the false notice suggested an extension until November 28.
DU officials took swift action, posting the clarification on their website and social media platforms. In light of the deteriorating air quality, Delhi’s schools have been advised by the Directorate of Education to switch to hybrid classes, ensuring the safety of students.
