Barcelona lost 1-3 to Borussia Dortmund in the second leg, but still made it to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2019. Coach Hansi Flick praised his team, saying Dortmund was a strong side and the match was very tough.
Flick said, “It wasn’t our best day, but reaching the semi-final was our goal.”
When asked about facing either Bayern Munich or Inter Milan next, Flick said he has no preference and will enjoy watching the match at home.
He also confirmed that Pedri was not injured—he just needed rest after many games. Inigo Martinez was left out due to a yellow card risk.
Now, Barcelona is just one step away from the Champions League final.
