“Two Terrorists Killed In Uri Encounter After Pahalgam Attack”

Two terrorists were killed in a gunfight with the Indian Army in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. This happened just one day after a big terrorist attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people died and many others got hurt.

The Army said the terrorists tried to enter India through the Sarjeevan area in Uri. When the security forces found them, a heavy exchange of gunfire happened. Two terrorists were shot dead, and a lot of weapons and ammunition were recovered. The operation is still going on.

The attack in Pahalgam happened at Baisaran meadow, a popular tourist place known as ‘Mini Switzerland.’

After hearing about the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi quickly returned to India from Saudi Arabia. He met with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval right after landing.

PM Modi condemned the attack. He promised that those responsible will be punished and said that India’s fight against terrorism will become even stronger. He also prayed for the families of the victims and for the recovery of the injured.
