They ranked them based on food diversity, local vs. chain restaurants, ratings, popularity, and affordability. They also surveyed 1,000 Americans about their dining habits.
San Francisco took the No. 1 spot as the Culinary Capital of the U.S. with the highest score. The city is famous for its fresh seafood, Mission-style burritos, sourdough bread, and dim sum in Chinatown. Michelin-starred restaurants and local favorites make it a food lover’s dream!
California dominated the list, with seven cities in the top 10—including Oakland, San Diego, Los Angeles, Anaheim, and San Jose. New York City, Seattle, Irvine, and Jersey City also made the list. If you’re looking for high-quality dining, Las Vegas ranked No. 1 for the best-rated restaurants.
