Congress accuses delays and mismatches in poll trends as it trails in Haryana.

The Congress raised concerns about delays in uploading election trends on the Election Commission’s website as the BJP gained a lead in the Haryana Assembly polls. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh suggested that the BJP might be trying to influence the administration by sharing outdated trends. At that point, the BJP had crossed the majority mark, leading in 48 seats, while Congress was ahead in 33.

Ramesh also wrote to the Election Commission, citing unacceptable delays, while Congress leader Pawan Khera pointed to discrepancies in the rounds counted and those displayed. In response, BJP’s IT cell head Amit Malviya dismissed the complaints, accusing Congress of always blaming external factors when they lose. He urged Congress to accept the BJP’s win as a result of their governance.
