Atishi Takes Over as New CM of Delhi After Kejriwal Steps Down!

In a significant political shift, Delhi Minister Atishi is set to become the new Chief Minister of Delhi following the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal. The announcement was made by Kejriwal himself during a party meeting in New Delhi.

Atishi, who has been a prominent member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and held key portfolios in finance and education, will lead the national capital until the elections scheduled for early next year. This move comes in the wake of Kejriwal’s resignation, which followed his release on bail related to a corruption case.

Kejriwal, a staunch critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has claimed his arrest was politically motivated. He stated his resignation is a way to demonstrate his honesty and commitment to the public.

Atishi expressed her determination to work towards Kejriwal’s return as Chief Minister and honored him as her mentor. She emphasized her commitment to continuing his vision for Delhi.
