Gal Gadot revealed her fourth pregnancy was far from smooth. In February, during her eighth month, she was diagnosed with Cerebral Venous Thrombosis (CVT), a rare brain blood clot affecting 3 in 100,000 pregnant women in their 30s.
She shared how weeks of severe headaches led to an MRI, uncovering the condition. Rushed into emergency surgery, Gal gave birth to her daughter, Ori, during the ordeal. Ori, meaning “my light,” became her symbol of hope.
Thanks to dedicated doctors, Gal has fully recovered. She hopes her story raises awareness about listening to one’s body and recognizing early signs of health issues.
Gal, known as Wonder Woman, is married to Jaron Varsan and has four daughters. She will next be seen in Snow White, In the Hand of Dante, and The Runner.
