Maha Kumbh Stampede: BJP MP Cites ‘Conspiracy’ In Probe”

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad claimed in Parliament that the investigation into the deadly stampede at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj suggests a conspiracy. The tragic incident, which occurred on January 29 during Mauni Amavasya, led to 30 deaths and 60 injuries when a massive crowd broke barricades at the Sangam area. Prasad stated that those responsible would eventually face shame.

Meanwhile, opposition parties, led by Congress, demanded a discussion on the stampede and a list of the victims. They protested in the House and called for a suspension of the Question Hour to address the issue.
