Hyderabad Ex-Armyman Admits To Killing Wife, Body Parts Missing
A shocking murder case in Hyderabad has left investigators puzzled. Gurumurthy, a retired Army jawan from Andhra Pradesh, confessed to killing his 35-year-old wife, P. Venkata Madhavi. He claimed to have dismembered her body, boiled the parts, and dumped them in a lake at Jillelaguda, located on the outskirts of the city. However, despite his confession, the police have yet to recover any body parts.
The authorities are corroborating technical and scientific evidence to verify Gurumurthy’s claims. Commissioner of Police G. Sudheer Babu mentioned that the investigation is ongoing and that they are not solely relying on the confession. Despite the detailed confession, no arrest has been made as of Thursday evening, though the suspect is in police custody.
The suspect, who now works as a security guard, told the police that the murder happened in a fit of rage. Investigators believe he took great efforts to avoid getting caught. The case continues to unfold as the police search for the missing body parts.
